i just re-read the article, and to my knowledge, 5 megabytes a second is fast enough (i think)

according to that article, dvd takes appx. 6 megabits/sec? for some reason i thought it was much more...well...anyone looking for a relatively cheap in-dash dvd....there you go (first post).

i've been using that same circuit for 2+ years without a single problem
