Mame?
Hey,
Movies/Music is all great, but what about games for those other times. Are there any good, non graphics intense application that would be playable soley via Touchscreen and Joypad configuration? Cause most games I wanted to put on all require some keyboard input (Specifically ESC for backing outta menu's).
Keyboard / Touch screen games = bad while driving...
However a voice activated game wouldnt be so bad ;-)

User: I'd like to play a game.
UTSG: how 'bout playing 'Drive Safe and Stay Alive'? --it's a very popular game.
User: No, i was thinking of something w/ space ships and lasers.
UTSG: oh, then maybe you'll be interested in knowing that over twentythousand deaths each year are attributed to 'distracted driver' syndrome.
User: I'd be a little more interested in some FPS. What have ya got?
UTSG: I've got a phat new game called "hands at ten and two, eyes on the road".
User: bah! that's boring.

I dont think he wants to play the game while driving.
Maybe when you are in your car waiting on someone...like at the airport.
Solitaire? I think the standard MS games would work well except the ones you need to hit F2 on to start.
Yea, what you said. Driving and games can just be a combination for disaster. Specifically talking about when waiting around and doing nothing.Originally Posted by MoFo
But I found a way to alleviate the keyboard probem slightly - just found out the controller I'm using allows me to map some of the keys to keyboard functions like ESC.
DRIVER ---the original game is what i let the people see as a demo when i present my carputer business....it runs flawlessly on VIAs 10000s and is really fun!
sNES emulators...fun times!
