Angry Mindless bastards wrecked my car!

Sorry to bring down the tone, but I need a rant!

Last night some moron broke into my car in an attempt to steal it, being a people carrier/ minivan there is plenty of glass to choose from to gain entrance (see avatar), so where did they choose to break in?

    Through the 'kin moonroof!

Then they smashed the steering column cowling and the steering lock, ripped off
the ignition switched and no doubt tried to start it.

Which is when they would have found that the cylinder head is cracked and it won't run!

At least the carputer was on my dining room table at the time so I have'nt lost that, but it just seems so pointless, they didn't even take my headunit or the CD's in the glovebox!

    /end rant

not to lower your rant, but they did try to steal your car, and couldn't... in fact, you are lucky in your badluck.

I totally sympathize with you man. My car was stolen twice (they actually drove it away) and when police caught them guess what ? they were released in about half an hour because they posed no threat to society (at least that's what they told me) and they never faced trial. Ahh, sometimes I wish I had a shotgun aimed at those bastards' heads. Or maybe not 'cause with my luck I'd end up in jail instead of them a-holes

Actually he would've been lucky if nothing happened. I don't know about others but I feel upset at least a whole day if I have a minor scratch on my car, not to mention what has happened to him. Those bastards should be shot on the spot.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly ?

Yeah - fact that these assholes can walk all over you and nothing gets done is why I wanna keep a nice 9mm in my nightstand drawer.

I have to agree with them, you are lucky that they didn't get the van. At least now, the insurance company should pay for the repairs, you will be up and running in minimal time. If they got the vehicle, the insurance company may take forever to replace the thing, and you would be taking the bus!

I know it sucks, but look at the silver lining. Not the rusty lining of the steering column that you can see now...

You are lucky man. Atleast didn't look like that much damage.
Anyway, that is a darn stupid thief. Why in the freaking world they break the moonroof instead of any other windows? It's much easier that way (and cheaper for you to replace too).
Those guys need to go to "training camp" on how to steal cars

Because two pikey pecker heads driving round in January with their window down (broken) is a bit obvious! No one will see the roof is open/missing. Must have made a hell of a noise breaking the glass roof though. That glass is so thick as it is part of the car structure like the windscreen only bigger and in a place where there is normally steel.

Enough for the insurance co. to write it off by the sound of it! No doubt they'll offer me 'current book value' which won't be enough to buy another car big enough for the family...
