Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display > Appearance tab > Advanced button
Select Icon for the item, then adjust the size to your liking.
I'd expect the icons in that picture to be about 90-100 pixels.
    Experiment.

On this screen you can change the sizes, colors and fonts of all the windows elements.

Actually, that will not accomplish what he wants.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

I don't remive text from my icons, so I don't know how to accomplish that.

Ive been trying to do that as well with no success. I think even if you did, it would remove them from all icons that are displayed. Even in other folders. I found a bit of a windows glitch when using large icons. You know the screen where you select a file? On the left there are icons that allow you to quickly navigate to desktop, my computer, my net. places etc. Well when you use large icons, you cant see all of those choices and there is no scroll bar. Another thing Ive noticed is that when you use the high dpi setting along with a low res., some windows are partially off the screen and the window isnt scrollable. My display settings window does this. I can make all the changes but then when it comes time to select apply, ok, or cancel, I cant see the choices so I have to use tab and hope im on the right one, then click enter. That, however, may be a radeon problem not windows, but there are some windows windows that have that same problem.

Try renaming the icons to [space]. It sort of gets rid of the caption. Here's a guide:
