oh hey - is that the new drive soft?

lol - anyone else ever have anyone ask this of your computer set-up?

I was getting my oil changed today and had the guy ask me this....I was like "no, it's all custom"......he just looked at me like - custom? what's that?

was rather funny....to me at least....

not a big deal, just thought it was kinda funny and was wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this with their carPC set-up?

I was getting my oil and tires changed, and the service people were like "oh I didnt know saturns came with navigation"

I was like oh no I built that into the car, then had to spend a extra 20 minutes at the shop showing everyone what it did.

I had to leave before they started asking me to do that to their cars.

One of my nephews didn’t believe when I tell him it was a computer. He thought it was some kind of fancy AV system. I had to actual show him the computer

One of my clients was showing off saying that in his new home he has a small room dedicated to an all state of the art AV system with a jukebox of 80 CD’s that could be accessed from the whole house. You should have seen his face when I casually point over my shoulder to my car and said ”Yeah, That’s cool.. I have about 1000 CD’s in my car’s jukebox.”

But I gave up telling people what it is. Most of the time I get that “stop bull****ting me!!” look

Reactions, heh, that's what makes it all worth it. Although I try to stay as low profile as I can, you can't help bring it in to the dealership for warrantee repair once or twice. And must say, it feels good when the service manager wants one too. And course friends who like to be copy cats.... but thats all good. Atleast they realized how cool it really is.
