    Griffin technologies powermate

Another forum memember just brought one of these over to my house. It is totally awesome but I have no idea how to make it into a useable device. Is it possible to use this as a volume knob and or input device on lets say frodo's front end? I tried a search of the forum and came up with nothing.
    Thanks in advance.

Ok I prematurely posted this question. After about 10 seconds of playing with this thiing I have it working the volume on frodo player. I have it working the volume up and down which is exactly what I was looking for but if anyone can add any other functions I am missing please let me know.
    Thanks

This is the product I am talking about http://www.griffintechnology.com/pro...mate/index.php

It does a lot more than volume. Play with the software some.

Turn for volume, press down and turn to scroll through buttons, press and hold for however long you set it to select that button, press quickly to mute or pause, lots of options.

When reading manga or ebooks on my home pc rotating the knob turns pages; holding and rotating zooms in and out, and pressing down for 1 second toggles fullscreen. Much easier to do with the Powermate than with a mouse.

Get a list of shortcut keys for whatever app you want to use it with.

I just wish the base had a few additional buttons.

fonseca......thanks. I just figured out how to make those changes. I thought I could only use it for dial and one push of the button.
