thinking of buying a 2nd touchscreen!

ive got the epia m10000 can i run 2 touchscreens off this motherboard ?

scrren in front and another in rear! to give myself or ppl in back control over carpc?

Yeah, it's possible. Do you want the two screens to be clones of each other (to display the same thing), or to work as dual monitors, so you can have, say, GPS on one, and FrodoPlayer on the other?

For two monitors that display the same thing, you'll just need an adapter to split your VGA signal to give two identical outputs you can hook the monitor up to.

For dual monitors, you'll need to buy a second video card. Then you can hook one up to the onboard video, and one to the second video card and enable dual monitors.

splitting the display is one thing, but you also need to split the touchscreen control. and you can't just splice the two USB connections together.

however, if you read some of the info on lilliput displays, I believe they mention multiple monitor support for the touchscreen drivers, so presumably you could get the two touchscreens to work together on the cloned displays via software; you should look into that.

I don't think so...the two screens will act like usb mice, but I think they will end up fighting with each other...so if you have two people touching at the same time, you will have problems, but as long as only one of you uses it at a time, you should be fine.

yes the touch drivers for the lilliputs do support multiple touch screens, I am planning on ending up with 3 touchscreens total in my car

I am not sure but I think the xenarcs support this as well

No theres no fighting just hopping around. I have a wired mouse and wireless mouse for various reasons and it works fine.
As far as using a splitter for the vga it will get very dark, but you can turn the gamma up on the moniter themselves.
