Post Shuttle FV 24 speaker beep, how to disable?

I just got my Shuttle FV24 in and I notice when I have speakers plugged in, the PC speaker beeps though it. Is there a way to disable the PC speaker beeps on the FV24? Otherwise everytime I start my car I get the loud OK beep from the FV24 through my car speakers.

yeah i hear you... i don't like it either but I didn't see anything in bios that disables that. I guess you can email them and ask how to get rid of that there are already many bios updates on the website, i haven't had a chance to update mine yet but that might be worth a try.
    go to www.shuttleonline.com
there is also a new video driver there i noticed... dated 10/19/01. I hope that will fix the overscan issue i have... can't get it to display on the entire LCD. =(

Thanks, but its the BIOS beep when the computer boots up, the single OK beep, before it starts booting from the hard drive. I also don't use windows on my mp3car player.

    Hey moahdib,

I know you got yours working with a monitor and TV. I am currently reformatting cause when i tried, i could not get any video back after trying.

Is there any tricks i should know to get it to work on my tv?

    Thanks,
    Derek

reason why you can't get TV OUT could be that you didn't set it in BIOS to enable both TV OUT and VGA. If you did that...and the TV OUT doesn't work, it's bc your LCD doesn't have enough resistance...add a 50ohm or so resistor on the rca cable and it should work fine. That's what I did wiht my LCD panel.

I didn't see anything in the bios, but I have it working. Had the res too high, had to be at 640.

What kind of LCD are you using? resolution shouldn't matter for TV-OUT. I am running 800X600 res on my 6.8" NTSC LCD.

The PC speaker beeps through the soundcard out, this is actually pretty common but usually there is a hookup cable for this to happen (except this is all onboard in this case)
