No Question, But note on Aiwa CDC-MP3
Well, I got the car on the road today. My god it's WICKED fast! Have a feeling I'm gonna have some fun with this one. Gonna get a Hypertech Power Programer III for it also, get some stiff shifts and boost the power..
Anyway, I got off track. For those of you looking for a "factory" MP3 CD deck, I can say now that what I heard about it skipping is true. Now bare with me, it's not too too bad, BUT.. On sharp bumps it does skip.. Takes about a second or two to pick up after it skips.
How often? Not too bad, just on the sharp ones. Of the few hours I was out driving, at speeds of 50 to 90, it only skipped 3 times or so.
Disclaimer: Driving fast is bad.. Bad bad bad.. Please don't try this at home..

I was going to get that Aiwa, but since I live in Europe, the frequency range of the fm receiver do not match, and that put me off.
I sure am glad that I did not buy it, otherwise it would be skipping like every 10 seconds, considering the state of the Maltese roads !!
lol...that is not good.... can play mp3's off my box on CD for hours and NOT one skip and not to mention even watching DVD doing over 80mph....Anyway, I got off track. I was really hard pressed about going with the Aiwa but I'm glad I didn't. I had read more bad than good about it and hey, how can you beat 80GB(only about 20G used so far<g> ) in one unit! :-))))))))))
But good luck with it, and the car, man.

Hurm.. Is it hard to get radio tuned in through the factory antena to an All-In-Wonder card? If not, I may just ditch the Aiwa and go full computer.. Thoughts?

try using a relay and a swich to switch the antena back and forth if you get my drift
