thats probably some HW config issue - this does not take more then 0,1 sec on my system. I suggest to check your IDE devices master/slave settings.
Morning to all
I've seen that my little carpc loose some time(secs) in
"verifing DMI pool data", how can i make a fast boot up without all this
controlling?
I've use divs(read on this forum) but it's always the same.
Some ideas about it??
thanks in advance

I will look in bios, hope to find the solution.
HDD is a 2.5" then no problem about jumping like the 3.5".
Why would you think so? Even 2,5" HDDs have master/slave jumpers.
I noticed when I swapped from 256 to 512M ram in my EPIA it slowed down tremendously.
