Run programs on hibernate/suspend and resume!

You just need to hit the 'OK' button the nagging dialog, and then hit the 'connect' button on the toolbar.

It's a GPS port splitter with fixes for hibernation bugs in GPS virtual port drivers.

disabling the device directly using devcon didn't really work for me, but disabling the hub that it is plugged into works.

I have been working on a tool like this myself, but have gotten sidetracked.

So, do you disable the hub using DEVCON? Also, is this the bus hub (motherboard integrated) or an external USB hub?

I think it should work either way, but I am disabling an external hub. I have all the stuff i want disabled (or dont care) plugged into an external hub, and the other stuff plugged directly into the computer.

OK, read all about it now. I had sigs disabled, so couldn't see your signature!

I don't really understand why I need to use the Compass app. I was plannong to use it with iGuidance, just to fix the Hibernation issue: when I hibernate, and resume from hibernation, iG displays an error message complaining about disconnected GPS. I just dismiss that dialog, and 'reconnect' the GPS by clicking the re-conect button/icon in iG, and all is fine again. Will Xport help me prevent all of this crap?
