My history with my incar mp3 player

Today while browsing through a bunch of old backups on my computer from several years ago I ran across some things of interest. First off, I found the first mp3 player I ever built for my car....which I didn't even remeber. The code name was "Wraith Mp3 player" the year was 2000, and the PC was very outdated (a pentium 1). Anyway, I decided to do a little more research and I found more stuff using the internet time machine. Maybe some of you guys will find this interesting.

first off I uploaded my old files, one of which includes a video of hooking up my first LCD, a 5.6" composite non-touch I purchase in 2000 from partsexpress.com. Also I have a short blog with a ton of misspellings from back in 2000 located in the wraith directory. You can see a gradual progression from a standard small desktop, to a mid-tower, to a wooden box (with a wifi-card...for wardriving) and now my current setup. Also, somewhere in there I've got a program that is used to control winamp with use of a keypad (in my pre-touch screen days). The program still works if anyone is interested. This stuff is major ghetto. Take a look

notice the first system i made (wraith) in '00 was a pentium 75 mhz, running windows 95. As I recall, I could not get video to run smoothly until I upgraded to a processor with mmx, which was a 133 mHz, and the video ran soooo smooth......but it took exactly a minute to boot. Now I boot in 15 seconds with my 1.7 gHz p4
