Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to this pc in a car, but i am well experienced in both cars and pc's. Therefore i was wondering if anyone one could give give me some good tips, to start me off,e.g. where to find info? What i need?

hey, welcome to the forum.

i would start by having a look through the FAQ emporium & the show off you install section, can see what pthers have done and what they have used and if you are unsure of anything it will prob be in the FAQ

I supose read stuff, but I can see then you'd need to know what to read right?

I would recommend reading some LCD reviews, a PSU review, and then figure out what type of front end you want to run, download as many as you can, and try them out, and read GPS reviews, software and hardware.

Try the FAQ Emporium. That will get you started. There's even a "newbie's guide to mp3car.com" link in there.

Then, wander over to the "Show off your project" forum to see installs by members. You'll learn lots from seeing how it's done. Don't forget to check out the "Worklogs" subforum where folks document their installations.

JESUS CHRIST i thinks we need a sticky in the newb forum that says first and foremost to check the FAQs and search....or that animated gif where it shoes a cursor going to post and a hand moves it to search...
