Post My plexi case for the Shuttle FV24

As promissed I took some pics of the plexi case i built for the shuttle fv24.

go here for more pics: www.geocities.com/partycar2000/partybox3

    SPECS:

    Shuttle FV-24
    Celeron 667mhz
    128MB PC133 SDRAM
    30gig ATA100 7200rpm
6X DVD( soon gonna change to a pioneeer 16X slot load)

    Jeff Mucha's MBPS 70W ATX DC-DC

SIIG PCI serial card ( gives me 2 more serial ports)

serial 1- IRMAN w/ 2 eyes- IRMAN is inside the case. One eye is in front of the case and I made another extension through the phone jack on the back of the case for the other "eye" located on the car dash.
serial 2- Matrix Orbital 20X4 LCD (serial interface)

parallel - hooked up to a 40X4 LCD on the dash

    4 fans:
    - two 60mmX60mm high speed fans (7000rpm). One blows air in, and another blows air out
The yellow switch is to either make the fans really fast (powered by 12V) or quieter ( 12V through a 33ohm resistor).
    - 1 little fan to cool the DC-DC
    - Intel OEM Celeron fan

The tv-out goes to the 6.8" LCD on the dash which I made removeable.

    I think that's it.....
    hope this wasn't too boring

BTW.. the remote is just velcroed to the front =) when I take the box to a party of course.

Stable from 8V to 16V. I been using for a couple months on 2 diff computers and it works great.
I got it for around $100 from Jeff. But that was one of his prototypes. I think he's charging $150 for an assembled and tested one. The parts themselves are $100.

    Moahdib,

is this a Winamp skin or another player, on the first picture you posted? And if yes, which one?

That top part above the playlist is the winamp AVS plugin. I don't remember which one because I have over 50 of them which play randomly
Just go to winamp.com and do a search in the plugin section for AVS presets... you will find a TON of them.
