    its just a scam.

this is from the legal terms & conditions:

For sale here is not the actual phones, but info on how to purchase them for the shown prices.
just like the guys on ebay that sell JL Audio amps for $9 and then you look at the item descrip and it says "not the actual item, just info on how to buy it cheap"... and then (to make a long story short) its a pyramid scheme where you have to go and make the same kind of listings until enough people buy it so you can afford a real one.

If anyone cares, I managed to get my hands on a used Razr V3 for $100. Some guy jammed one of the buttons, claimed insurance, and got a differnt phone. Long story short, i got the phone, refurbished, like new for 100$, hell of a deal, and a sweet-*** phone, the guy had it for only a week!

I like I like! Now to find out how much it costs without activation =/ lol. Though I still gotta look into unlocked phones not sure if/how that opens my options.

    its $299 without activation.

I know cause got one the day it came out, it was free after rebates with new every two and a two year contract, but then I lost it a week and a half later./ insurance said its so backordered they may not have a replacement one for a very long time. so after talking to a supervisors supervisors supervisor he agreed to let me buy one at the store and they would reimburse me. so I just bought another one.

that said if you want no contract it seems like a good deal on a phone for $299.

That said James thinks he can light his phone on fire, make an insurance claim, and put that towards the new phone

I have to look into that I hope I dont have to get a direct replacement and can upgrade!

Damn apparently its all through the insurance company its not Verizon, I guess I could have called the insurance people to ask but it sounds too phishy ahaha. Though they told us when we bought it I could break my phone in front of them and they would have to replace it...

*sigh* since im not shelling out that much looks like I go cool-phoneless for another year and a half.

I guess I should have waited to accept the 2 year thing when I got my phone until I had a job so I didnt have to buy the $10 option *cry*

I wonder if I can add my brother to the plan though, give him my phone, and then buy myself a new phone at the new plan price... after all we prolly wouldnt have to pay beyond the activation fee and maybe $5 a month or such because I doubt we use all our minutes... and he could just use his as emergency to call us (we have the IN network)... bwahahaha scheming
