No control over your music... I dont understand that at all.
When Im home (i dont own an iPod) and listening to my 4000+ mp3s, i have it ON SHUFFLE cuz I dont want to hear my albums or artist in any kind of order.
The shuffle is for those who just want something to throw 1GB or so of music on and just jam/workout/work/run to it. They dont need to be able to pick a specific song out of it cuz there arent 60GB of them on it. Sooooo the shuffle is a damn good piece of musical mastery. DOnt knock it until you try it.
OH and not buying an iPod cuz of battery life is stupid, you dont buy one cuz they are too expensive. Battery life is great. And the replacement thing was for certain models.

Okay then, how much and how often do I have to replace the battery.... untill I get a confident $25 every couple years forget it.
And the shuffle sucks, how hard would it be to throw a non-shuffle option in there? It would expand the market greatly.
Sure its perfect for those people that just want some music to work out to, but since I am not one of those people I can officially say it sucks.
And anyone building a CarPC can't claim an Ipod is too expensive....

There is a "play in order" option. Not saying that I like the shuffle, but the option is there.
