Mini itx, Epia M wont boot?

Ok ive been spending like forever trying to figure this damn thing out.

It all started one day when it just stopped working. At first i thought it was the harddrive or ram and tested later and it was not. It has something to do with the mobo.

So im trying to reinstall windows. Boots from cd then loads all the blue screen junk then go to "Starting Windows" (in blue screen) and freezes. I can install it on another mobo with same ram and harddrive and it works, so it the mobo.

I have updated the bios after resetting them to default settings, thinking i might have or someone might have messed with something, and still the same problem.

I cant get windows to boot? Anyone have the same problem or one like that? Im not buying another board. Well i hope i dont have to. Help please. What could i be missing?

so does it actually get anywhere in the installation process? or does it just freeze as it starts installing? If it installs okn (even just the basic drivers), and then freezes during startup or further installation, I would think it is something conflicting somehow.... try turning off as much as you can in the bios maybe?

When it boots from the cd. It begins to install all the drivers and all that stuff. Then it gets to where it says "Starting Windows", wich is right before partitioning and formatting. It freezes right there. Also if i install windows with another mobo and try to start it in safe mode it stops at mup.sys. or when i did have windows installed it seems as it would just freeze while trying to boot windows. There is a setting in the bios called PNP/PCI Configurations, were i can reset the configuration data. I have set it to Enabled but it will not stay enabled after i reboot. Im not sure that it is suppose. One of the default settings puts it to enabled i think, yeah im pretty sure, but it still does not remain enabled after boot.

dont worry about reset cfg data, its not going to help you... have you tried a different rom drive? or what about the disk, good condition still? original or burned? If youve tried different mobo then it cant be that.

that kind of error almost always seems to be a memory problem, sometiems a bad sector on a harddrive will cause similar problems. Try swapping out memory if that does not work try a different hard drive fi you have a spare
