    smallest mobo/case available?

Any suggestions for purchasing a mobo/case? I have looked at micro ATX but it still seems pretty darn large. Flex ATX is not much smaller. And SFF mobo/cases are hard to find.

I would rather build my own because those tiny systems are just way too expensive.

I'm confused now. Do you want to buy one or build one?
In terms of building one, starting with an off the shelf aluminium project box makes life easier. I got mine from www.maplin.co.uk. I plan to do the same for my new system too.

Yeah if you want small, build it yourself. Lexan is easy to work with.

Ideally I would want the smallest form factor that was the cheapest, so I would assume this would be building my own. Have not found a micro atx case smaller than 14" x 14" x 5 1/2", way too big for my teeny vette.

Also which power supply and startup/shutdown controller would u guys recommend for a micro atx system? Seems like everyone likes Opus.

If you're after small mobos, I recommend 3.5" bsicuit PCs. I just ordered one of these for my new setup. It's the same size as a 3.5" floppy drive.

I was originally going to use a P3/700 laptop I had sitting around, but it was such a pain to control shutdown/startup, and the usb ports on it were not accepting my Xenarc touchscreen, I just decided to build a new PC.

I am looking at this: http://www.xenarcdirect.com/store/pr...cat=256&page=1

Can anyone tell me if any of the Opus power/startup/shutdown controllers will fit this? Not sure if it is ATX or not.

Going crazy here trying to figure all this out. I have emailed mp3car.com on suggestions, guess they do not want my money!

OK so if I build a micro ATX system and power it with one of the Opus power supplies, does that include startup/shutdown, or is that something separate? Besides the PC, power supply and startup/shutdown is there anything else I should purchase?

Nano-ITX motherboards measure 12x12cm and use DDR memory. Can't get them much smaller than that.
