I have an old Neo35, but it started getting quarky.
sony makes one. its called the mex-1hd. i had it, it was an awesome headunit. i think it had 10 gig hdd and you can rip it str8 to the hard drive.
yah is pretty cool, these stupid ipod and everything have 450megs a second via USB2.0 or 400megs a sec with firewire but for some reason stupid 150megs a sec via IDE bus is faster? I don't get it. I sware usb speeds are a joke and the same with firewire.
Why do these mp3 players have to send one song at a time and not just a group dump such as with harddrive data. It is really annoying and painfully slow to own one of these ipod things. I have tried the Flash players and Harddrive ones, both are unacceptable unless you are a kindergarden teacher.
I have a Phatnoise that came with my GLX.. a 20g hd stuffed w/ MP3s and such

And if you are gonna be complaining about the USB/Firewire speeds vs. ATA speeds, you might want to do some research on the matter. If you think that getting a hard drive based car player will help you avoid the "slow" USB/Firewire interface, you are gonna be in for a surprise. All those hard drives are removable and are connected through a USB port.
I have found you an argument; I am not obliged to find you an understanding.
