ROBBED!! (car broken into)

I'm SO ****IN' MAD!! I need to vent off!!! ARRRRRRRRGH!!!
Last night, around 6:30, I went to the movies with my girlfriend... everything was going great for the night.. until we were leaving and as we were walking around the parking lot, one of those security guards in the cars saw us walk towards my car and asked me "Is that your car sir?" ... So I'm like "yea"... and he's like "did you know it got broken into?".. I was like "NO, stop playin'" and right as I came around, I found:

A broken passenger side window smashed all over the seat, broke the trim/frame around my window, they tore off my center console, damaged my dash, they took the touchscreen monitor, they cut all my factory wires for the radio, they broke into the glovebox and took the Blaupunkt head-unit, they stole my girl's MP3 player and Digicam, they stole my "Xenosaga" PS2 game with Memory card, they cut the wire of the GPS unit, broke the trim around my HVAC control, and they attempted to rip off the PC from behind my backseat, but lucky enough for me, I had drilled that **** hard onto the frame of the seat..

I'm so ****ed... and very depressed... it cost me so much money to put that stuff together, and now it's gonna cost me more.. getting that window replaced...
Things will never be the same again man...

even if covered by insurance you have all the work of putting your PC and stuff back together, the mp3 player, the songs have to be uploaded again, then the tags have to be sorted, the camera probably had pictures on it you wont get back.... Its never the same

And its a ****** to know they probably did it to sell so they can shoot junk up their veins

yea man... I can't even express how upsetting that is... The damaged trim around the window is no easy fix, and neither is the console part they tore off...
They even caused a short that blew the fuse for my stock alarm and dome lights...

sounds like they new what they were after. I wonder if they had checked out your pics and recognised the car.

That's why I don't put a pic of the outside of my car on my site.

Sorry to hear you bad news mate, but I dont think its anything to do with pictures of cars, not if you cover the reg plate, its just bottom feeders, car parks at a cinema etc are prime spots for scumbags.

I would agree with Enforcers fears. I don't put my true loaction on forums anymore so casual readers don't know where I am from - especially not on the pug 306 forum as I don't trust those guys half as much as I do people on here. Also you guys are international and there is only a few of us Brits, most of who I now know very well.

oh and jsut for the crims reading this, enforcers car is a bright pink 3-series with Burberry seats and he is a big scary black man who knows how to use a knife - and owns a few.

I am seriously considering electrifying my door handles. **** it if someone tries to take me to court. I will hope for one of those old school judges who congratulates people who shoot burglars and makes the crims pay for the bullets.

Unfortunately, Fraychild has put up a picture of his car, with the plate in full view. The picture is even outside his house (I guess it's his house). which is contained in the thread which his signature links to.

Anyway I believe it is very easy to get someones address from their reg plate. In fact all too easy
