    DAB in Car????

    ok.. if you goto this site, then click on the picture.. A new picture opens, this looks like a brain box, I assume it uses a cat5 cable to connect it to the lcd control panel. Now.. if this lead could be linked to a pc, then this would infact be a good option for dab radio. If we could get the info on this cable then it defo could be done I think

    ok I have emailed the manu's of these units, in the hope they can provide me with the communiction format between the main and lcd unit.

    hmm also looks like a nice simple molex connector too. fat chance its the right voltages but probbaly 12V and at least no searching for a proprietry connector.

    Open it and see what tuner module is being used. We can then interface the tuner to a PIC/USB interface.

    argos dont have em in yet.. says early sept on another site, so should only be a week or two
