    Opus and non-miniITX motherboard

Does the Opus 90w have the ability to power something bigger than a mini-itx board? I'm getting a little sick of the **** they're giving me, I've gone through two and it's just not going to keep happening. Will my Opus be able to power something bigger? I have a somewhat older ECS K7S5A and Athlon 1800+ - is that asking too much of the power supply?

    Love to hear your experiences...

    Thanks,
    Dan

It's probably too much for the 90w Opus.
    Try the 150w Opus.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Is there any sure-fire way to figure it out? What's the worst that will happen if I try it?

Yep, asking too much, I had a mobile-XP 2000+ clocked down to 1400+ speeds, 90W opus kept restarting, 150W rock solid @ 2000+
