OnStar review from a CarPC guy.

I dunno, I could have used the remote unlocking feature a while back in my truck. It was winter and I took my truck to a self car wash. As I was vacumming the insides two things happened. While vacumming I hit the lock button on the door and when putting the vacum back the door closed just enough to latch it self. Of course I had no tools and it was close to night time so no mexicans or jimmies we're available :-(

lol ppl have you never read your patriot act

they can do nearly anything for tracking you and so one theres no more real privacy

but i'm sure it won't help much against the terrorists ^^

The police can call OnStar and have them disable your vehicle anytime.

I want to thank onstar for nothing. I want everyone to know that yesterday I came across a young woman that locked her infant in her 2011 camaro. It was a cool 100 degree outside probably close to 110 inside the car. She had just picked her new red camaro up from her dealer just the day before. I called onstar emergency # supplied them with the vin # of the car and asked if they could help in such an emergency situation. They were glad to help if she provided them with a credit card # over the phone so they could set up her account. Since her purse was locked in the car with the baby they were unable to help in any way. I was very disappointed in them. This was the best sales opportunity every if they would have just opened the d*** door we all would have signed up for onstar on the spot. Thank you onstar for almost taking the life of a new born and helping create a stressfull situation.
