Lexus has some models under $7k from around 95.
BMW has a few that are under 10k (the 528i comes to mind).
Hey guys I'm new here and plan to stay a while... Recently my isuzu rodeo died on me and cost me close to a grand to fix engine BS... So im in the market for a new/used car... anyone have any ideas on what would make the best car for a carpc? I'm up for ideas just keep it in the Paramedic/Firefighter price range stay away from the doctor salary stuff![]()

Just buy a good reliable car (read: Not a Lexus!) and add a PC. If you narrow it down to cars that you think will be better for a PC you will be limiting your options when in reality you can add one of these systems to any car you have.
Spent so far: $1,755

Just as long as it has a double DIN, to make you job easier when moulding the screen in...that is if that's what you were planning...
Don't listen to Boris, he's a Lexus freak...![]()

This is true... I don't really want to narrow my field that much... But I'm a firefighter that needs a good vehicle that wont fall apart... againhaha and I've been looking at the jeep liberty but the interior of those seem to be difficult to cut since the air vents come out of the center and im not sure how easy a 7in screen would fit in the middle

It would help if you specified what you were looking for. Off road? RWD? AWD? FWD? Gas guzzler? American POS? German? Japanese?
I guess it would help if I knew what I wanted... HAHA I'm trying to figure out pros and cons of SUV vs. Sedan type. I'm looking into all types at the moment just something that gets good acceleration and doesnt cost me my paycheck to fill up lol so nothing above 6cil and something I dont have to pay 400 bucks for a special wrench to take the dash off LOL
I heard Hyundai's are pretty cheap as far as maintenance costs go...
true but aren't hyundai's also cheap as far as performance as well? Just what i've heard... have any of you looked at the jeep liberty at all to see if it would me managable to fit something dashwise?
