Hey guys im lookin at a Nissan Pathfinder 02... It has onboard NAV but its horrible is there anyway to take it out and replace it with a 7'' touchscreen? the only problem i see with it is the AC is run through the touchscreen display and dvdnav stuff... is there a way to run my AC on a carputer?
If they are analog controls yes... take a look to this thread:

If they are digital you pretty much out of options until david 0l33l build his digital AC interface (I don't think that is going to happen in the near future)

I guess im SOL its all run through the LCD the only button is the one to select the AC screen
OK go it now... I missunderstood you post. I guess trying to interface with that will be even harder than just digital AC (I was told by david that he was thinking on build a usb AC control for his much loving over rate lexus)

nothing is impossible, just depends on how much energy you are willing to invest.
that said do you ahve a picture of the stock interface? dont want to get your hopes up, but if there is a way to find the relays for the HVAC controls it might be doable.

Eh i decided to go with a 2000 Xterra... 8 grand cheaper and has 400w amp already in it... double DIN is easy to mold into w/e i want
