KCA-Anyone know if the IPod Nano will be compatible with existing HU adaptor accesories?
In particular the KCA-IP500: http://www.sounddomain.com/item/KENKCAIP500
From what I have heard the older IPods are fairly slow in response when searching for particular songs/artists via the HU controls. I am wondering if the IPod Nano with it's flash memory storage will be any better?

Ya, they work with the minis, atleast that's what it states on the Kenwood page. I ended up buying a 20GB Ipod 4g. Considering I plan on having it in the car most of the time I might as well go for the storage, I'm just a little concerned about what I've heard in terms of slow response time to switching track and searching for songs.
My plan is to cut a slot in the uncovered face of the deck and rig up basically a sliding drawer so that I can push the eject button on the deck, have to face plate fold down, insert in the ipod, and then have it close up and play.
