I doubt that is the case......probably more willing to spend days trying to make sense of some of these threads, sifting through the crap to get to the useful stuff.

I plan on :search: ing before I start to ask questions....but it seems that some are a little too annoyed with noobs. You got to understand that time is at a premium for me now and can't sit in front of the computer forever when someone could simply help a person out and share there knowledge and flex there carputer muscles.

car pc hacks... since im too lazy to search for the ways to get started on here, i read the book and now have a good knowledge base to start from

Welcome to the forum! Hopefully you'll find everything you need here. As far as time being a premium for you, I think that's true of most of us. So just politely ignore short and abrupt posts from folks who feel they can't sit in front of the computer forever answering questions that are asked frequently.

Hopefully you've seen the FAQ Emporium. Particularly the FAQ to the FAQ's which tries to consolidate the many threads (not all of which are in the FAQ Emporium) to save search time for folks.

If it's not meeting your needs, consider posting a constructive suggestion about what would be more helpful.

I got both of these books today as Christmas gifts and a Griffen Power Mate :nutz:

Not sure what else I'll get from the book as most everything is in this forum. I just like being able to browse off line. I'm sure I'll pick up a lot of ideas and stuff browsing all the photos as well.

Check your local libraries. Mine did not have anything, but I requested Car PC Hacks and they bought it. I then checked it out for 2 months. :rolleyes:

I thought it was an OK book but it didnt go far enough in depth.
