New Vehicle PC vendor: FORD!!!

Saw a blurb about this on the morning news:

It's an F250 truck with what appears to be a ruggedized tablet PC installed in a dock that will also charge the PC. Not too different than what some of the laptop users have done with docking stations.

Of course the first time I get rear-ended by an F250 Contactor Edition because some jackass gets a firus on his truck PC, I'm going to sue!

lol, unfortunately this is all too true as far as sueing people goes over here. Hell sue the passengers in the truck too.

The are charging 3k for there system too, a tad bit overpriced if you ask me.

I think 3k sounds fairly cheap for a ruggedized tablet pc
w/ XP Pro, MSOffice, navigation w/ GPS, broadband internet access, printing, order submission and payment processing capability.

Oh and...

I don't see how you could sue the passenger but you definately want to sue:

Ford, California Custom Sport Trucks, Stargate Mobile, Microsoft and the driver (personally and his company)!!!

ahhh... the practice of frivolous lawsuits lives long and proud here in the states. Anyone else in this forum think it's weird that we, the denizens of MP3CAR.com, are talking about suing people for having computers in their cars?

Its a Xybernaut Atigo T, probably the HB (high brightness). With a docking station.

Transmetta crusoe 1 Ghz processor.

I'd like to see the user interface, if one, and the antennae solution
