I have a question for the forum.....just bought a fujitsu 4121 tablet and was wondering if anyone has done or would have an idea of how to take just the lcd and use it with a different cpu.....i already have my cpu built and don't want to use the tablets guts....just the screen. Any ideas on how to interface and power the panel?
Here's a couple more ideas. I can have a small storage space at the rear:
The new floor over the twin tanks should look pretty much like this:
I still need to look into someone building them locally from sheet metal and then sealing the metal. I know there are places that can seal them up to prevent corrosion.
If I gave up the rear storage I could mount both a box and a new fuel cell in the rear compartment. Using a pre-made fuel cell will probably be a lot cheaper for me in the Long run anyway. I'd really be helping the weight distribution as well. I could then run two air tanks in the rear seat area. I wonder why I didn't try this arrangement sooner?
I like that design the best, but where exactly are the air tanks going? Down in the seat buckets under the cover? If so what size tanks are you going to try running?
Yes, it's drivable. Can anyone figure out how it steers?
This is my guess:
It's called the Steer Clear. This device would keep the Sub and steering wheel at the proper angle.
Hey Turbo, I've got a question for you. Take a look over on this page starting on post 117.
I'm trying to make some shark gill looking air vents on each side of the stock metal hood. I've already removed the reinforcement in that area on the bottom side of the hood and I think I have the size and shape that I want figured out. What I'm not sure about is how to separate the metal after I make the cut. I only want the rear side of the cut to be pushed down in a nice smooth fashion and the front part of the cut to follow the existing shape of the hood. I was wondering if you had any ideas how I can do that.
I was thinking about making a thin, wedge shaped tool that I could gently hammer in between the two pieces of metal. I think it would force the rear side down and give me the look I want. The front side of the cut is already curved so I don't think that side is going to bend anymore. Any thoughts?
What's that curved body stop tool ? A dolly?
Ah, I found a pic.
Maybe I could lay this on the back side of the cut and tap it down with a hammer?
hey this is a newb question i know but i can't figure out how to get my photos to post as a photo and not a link from photobucket onto this forum.....my install is near completion and i also my sub box pictures.
