    Article is dated December 7th so I don't know if this has already been posted but I searched for it and didn't find it. You can me if I'm wrong...

    Slowly but surely, the carputer is going mainstream. I better get my install started before it becomes the next big trendy thing.

    EDIT: oh yeah, his "estimated time" of completion for a carputer project: 2 days. HA!

    yes it can be done in 2 days with the car but not to mention the week in the house

    Perhaps if you bought all the pre-made stuff - you know, spent a ton of money - it could be done. But most of us are more interested in the cheaper, more custom deal.

    Yea i did mine with a week in the house and 1 day installing in the car, thats just the hardware...

    I just reloaded a new frontend and have been tweaking it for the last few days before a road trip im going on tomorrow.

    It can be done in 2 days but not my 99% of the population...

    Its good to get the exposure though it can only help.

    the first time I built a carpc it took me over a month to complete it, all new wiring, speakers, amp, computer installation, and lcd.
    I just finished doing another carpc almost excatly the same as the first time and it only took me 3 days, no pre-made components at all.
    .....but I did spend about 12 hours during the day working on it nonstop and didn't take a shower or eat lunch......
