can someone install the carputer for me?

I live in the dc area. I do not want to play around wtih my car too much because i dont have a car note and i can not afford to buy another one. Is there anyone out there or any shops out there who will be willing to go thru the installation step by step for me, or any shops in the area? I am willing to draw up a contract and pay the installation prices.

There is a great install shop in Manassas, VA called Safe and Sound. Check them out at www.mysafeandsound.com.

They installed a VGA touchscreen monitor in the dash of my car. It was a big job because they had to relocate the LCD monitor that was in the location where the VGA needed to go. It was a brand-new car and I was scared to death to have them tear the thing apart. They did a beautiful job; it looks totally stock and everything works great. If you go to the pictures of their installations you will see my 2005 TL with the VGA.

There were a couple of guys in the shop who knew about putting computers in cars. Give them a call, tell them what you want to do and ask if they'll do it for you.

They quoted and charged me $500. They told me it turned out to be a much bigger job than they thought and they wouldn't do it for less than $1,000 the next time. I gave them a $100 tip because I knew it was a big job and it turned out so well.
