Thread: Does anyone ever mod. 7' monitor w manual flip to insert the Disk on 2 Din ?

At this moment I have a 2-din DVD player with onboard screen.
As this is really crap , I'm collecting all the stuff I need to build a CarPC.

One of the things I will have is a flipping TFT screen like the one on my DVD player:



A friend of my is gonna draw me somthing on AutoCad. I don't think the screen will slide automatic , because it will take to much time to build. (and second, i just don't have any idea how to manage that)
So I will be done by hand, more like the ones on a Mercedes, they just flip forward.

If it takes to much work or we can get it done, then I just will use a slot just on top of my screen.
