    Best bet would be to go to a high-end junk yard or salvage place. There are lots of them around specializing in German/European cars. Some specialize in BMWs only. But since the E90 is fairly new, it might be hard to source such a thing.

    I would say "impossible"... the luck that a wrecked/totaled BMW E90 has the dash in place and is undamaged is a pretty long shot...

    A front or rear end impact could easily total the car since newer cars are designed to break rather than your bones.

    I would be scared to lose my warranty on a new BMW if you moved all that OEM parts for a car PC.
    And the OEM navigation dash is to high to touch while driving. It rest way back in top of the dash pad.

    z4 bmw flip up screen housing installed in BMW e39, used as pc monitor.

    if you can pull that off in the e90 I would certainly go that route.
    current system: car2pc adapter playing aux in for a sansa fuze media player. simple. cheap. effective.
