    Confusing Audio Input/Output question

    So, I was thinking about this and have no idea if it exist but figure it was worth a try. So if I have an amp on all for speakers, and just directly connect the carputer sound to it, I know it will work like that. But I also have a really nice eclipse headunit which unfortunatly does not have AUX Input. Is there anyway of connecting to the computer directly and then also to the inputs on my headunit? Any way of throwing a switich on there and like toggle between the two or am I just imagining something thats not possible? If im just being a dumbass, let me know. Its early for me right now (11:32 am) haha

    Personally, I would want both. The H/U for thoes times that you just wanna put in a CD for a short ride and don't really need to turn the carputer on, and for FM radio. And then the carputer.

    Actually, but running the computer through AUX-in on a headunit, you can do just that, whether the computer boots up or not.

    the only reason I was thinking of doing this was because my awesome HU doesnt have AUX

    He doesn't have AUX in.

    That's the route I went though. I bought the new Pioneer DEH-P4800MP with built in AUX input..i like it
