Post finished system in stang GT

I finally finished my system in my 96 stang GT. It took forver, and this board helped out alot, thanks to all. Take a look at tha pics, beware those with low bandwidth, there are alot of pics, but those with decent connetion shouldnt take but 30 secs max.

Arm G1 mini comp(1 ghz celery, 128 RAM, DVD,30 gig hd) under passenger seat; power is direct from battery at 14v with a 3A fuse inline, works like a charm
    5" MA TFT
    WinXP
    finger mouse
sound is going through the tape adapter till i get a new head unit

    Hey rsp10,

Nice work! Dig the hidden switch-panel. That's a far healthier use for an ashtray than what I use mine for.

What are the functions of the switches?

Very slick work. I've been wanting to hide the switches in my ash tray, but im still to freaked about cuting up the interior of my car . got to figure out how to dismantle the interiour of my car as well.

Nice Install, Normally I don't like it when people have the wires hanging out for the input/cassette adapter... but I think it looks okay in this case. Besides that hidden panel makes up for it... that is pretty sweet. Good job!

Yeah I know how the "insuficient funds" can be. There's nothing I hate more than wanting to get something new and not having the money... but when you work for it and get it, you will appreciate it more.

I have a very similar setup, ARM PC, same mouse.

I'm assuming the red wire drilled is for a remote turn on. Can you provide me some details on how you wired that in.

you know you have a hardcore setup when you have to take the freakin front seat out! Nice setup!

Could you just imagine taking these pictures to best buy and asking them if they could setup your car like this. I doubt it would even start after they were done!
