mp3car.com and UPS... store ordering and shipping.
Well, I have placed part of my order a few days ago with mp3car.com online. The ordering went smooth. The next morning, I finalized my choice on which in-dash screen I wanted; k301. I called to the store and spoke with someone there which was very helpful in answering my questions about reliability and problems i have read on the forums. So, I asked If I could add to my order. And surely enough, the screen was added to my previously placed order.
All is good in the customer service dpt in my opinion. :) My wait time on the phone was less than 1 min both times I called.
Shipping was fast. The item aparently shipped out the same day I had called.
I received it two days later. Big thanks for this! I'm happy!
But, I have had much experience with packages received via UPS... And many have not been good experiences. (like the time i received a computer case which looked like an 18 wheeler truck had backed into it with its tire - tread marks and all. (from a different retailer)
Anyway, UPS seems a little careless when handeling packages. I feel mp3car should take this advice and package their products a little safer.
Just a little more tape next time please? The inside was ok. plenty peanut packaging and properly packaged products. The box only had 1 piece of tape sealing the flaps which IMO, its not really enough...
