    door poppers

    hi , i live in the houston area and i'm looking for a auto place that sells and installs door poppers. does anyone out there have any suggestions.

    i think he means the actuators from shaved door handle kits. to pop the door open automatically
    i got dat ***** sittin on 22s! SUPERMAN EDITION!

    Just do a google search on trunk release solenoid. Have used them in the past as door poppers with no problems.

    i bought a nice set from summit racing. i think any custom shop would be able to instal them.

    you can get the poppers from any audio shop that sells stinger wire products the shop can most likley install them as well but a body shop would have to do the shaveing and filling

    what happens if your car is covered in ice/snow. are these actuators powerful enough? seems kinda absurd aside from in a show car

    EDIT: it could snow in houston...

    It could and actually does. About 1" once every five years or so.

    the door popper is just the little spring that pops the door slightly open when the actuator pulls on the rod inside the door.

    where u would put them on the door
