Voltmeter Placement Thought? I want your opinion

I'm thinking of moving my voltmeter to here

Just wondering what you guys think of it?. Right now its held by a little wood block with some wiring exposed, so i really dont like it. But my proposed spot would mean drilling a hole in the plastic, a rather large hole. So im going back and forth.
    Thoughts?

Ugly, but to each their own. If you really want it there, check to make sure there is clearance behind that plastic piece for the depth of the gauge.

How about a picture of the dash? The Camry dash is pretty big, there's got to be another place to put it.

What about fabbing some sort of gauge plate underneath the hvac controls? Do you need the ash tray and lighter? That looks like a good place for some cutting and custom gauge face.

I suppose that could be done, but i'm not sure my skills are up to par, and i would like to spend next to no money doing this(closer to none)

Dude, get a small LCD voltmeter and put it below the shifter. Oh wait, that would cost money.
