Thread: Cheated by the mp3car user

Some of you remember my sad story few month ago. Just in short. It will be 1 year since I have ordered few things from user "Cartunes" from this forum. I was waiting for the package for months, after half year I decided to make whole thing public to warn other users when making an aggrements with that user. Of course people were shocked and I have also received some disaggrements on what I did (made it public). But this was the only way. After few hours (hours! not days or months as before) I have received the feedback from user and he sent the package immediately to my friend in California.

In the meantime I have already bought whole CarPC setup, inclusive brand new Xenarc 10" widescreen, I've also posted my project in "Show off your project", and I decided to wait sending the package to me, because I had a friend with plan to go to US in the following months. And today was the day when my friend had come back and bring me all the stuff...

...and I am really disappointed again! If I decribe you in few words. In package should be:

1. LCD screen 10.4" 4:3 800 NITS
It is, but it is not working - I connected VGA input - nothing, I connected composite input - nothing, WTF? Backlight is working, but there is no picture and there is a RED led on controller. Buttons like Menu etc.. doesn't work at all (it shows nothing):

2. brand new 10.4 touch screen panel kit from DigitalWW
Cartunes was waiting for it for 2 times to get it in one piece (he received it broken for 2 times!), but don't worry, it is in one piece, but it is used! DigitalWW have sent him the used one? I payed him for the brand new panel as we had an agreement. And I don't want to mention that it was packaged so bad, that connector was "begging" to be broken - fortunate it wasn't:

3. brand new OPUS 150W power supply 12V from DigitalWW
Where the hell is the brand new Opus 150W as expented? What I have here is some unknown brand 70 or 120W 10-30V power supply and it is also used!? I remember that he was waiting for 14 days for Opus 150W to be avaiable in stock at DigitalWW store. I payed him for the brand new Opus 150W.

4. D-Link USB DSB-R100 FM radio
Where the hell is it? He forgot to put it in a package?

5. adaptor IDE to slim DVD
This thing is missing too.


I have sent him PM immediately, and confirmation status was readed after few minutes, I warned him I will make it public again if he will not reply immediately, becase I am tired of this s***, that's where I am right now...

And just for remind, I have every single PM sent to him and every PM received from him (almost 100 PM-s!), collected - just for sure, that he will remember, what he promised me and what I was expecting in the package.

What would you do in my case?
