Go right ahead and start your own forum site. Nobody's stopping you.

In case you care to actually look, there are other forums relating to vehicle computing that have been started. None are as popular nor as informative as these, however.

Of course mp3car.com wants to promote their products. It's how they make money. However, they haven't shut off any discussions related to DIY projects or other vendor's products on these forums, either. They support the hobby as a whole, regardless of whenther someone is an mp3car.com customer or using the products they develop and market.

and what is it we want on a seperate forum that is not provided here?

and I would have more respect for a thread like this if it had been started by a long standing member who has made obvious contributions to the community, rather than a n00b.

Oh and fellow brits who are advocating digital-car, while I agree that it is an alternative, it doesn't have all the different software and hardware forums that MP3 does and we don't seem to be setting up seperate forums for RoadRunner, FreeDrive, Centrafuse etc

so it is unlikely we (digital car) will have a seperate forum for iGuidance (which from the thread starters quote seems to be one of the reasons this thread has been started).

What job do you think they are not doing?

If you have a problem with anything going on here you can:

1) Attempt to fix it.
2) ***** about it (not effective and what you are currently doing)
3) Leave

It seems you are more interested in option 2 and not doing enough of options 1 and 3.

It is fine with me if I am wrong in this statement.

Prove what you are attempting to do or take option 3.
