Huh, that's weird... your harddrive is in the back and the PSU is in the front...

Anyways, cool, nice job with the PVR (MythTV, looks like?). Prepare for a totally different beast with the carputer.

Yea.. Its linux.. they have windows pvr software.. but I really think the linux "mythtv" is best as for as being stable and easy.

    http://www.mythtv.org/ Thats the pvr software.
http://mysettopbox.tv/knoppmyth.html Thats the os and software all compiled into one so its easy to install if you blow at linux.
    http://knoppmythwiki.org/ Thats Q & A for knoppmyth
http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtop...ht=guide+noobs Is a tutorial for people who do not know a lick of linux.

Basically you need a 1gh cpu with a pvr card. The cheapest card and most common is this
    http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/produ...ta_pvr150.html

So you can get a cheap case like me for 50$. The card for 50$. Throw some old cpu parts together and you have yourself a pvr! You need a big harddrive so if you wait for www.woot.com you can find a 250 gig for 55$. Any other questions?

Ah, good old mythTV.. that was the project I was working on when the CarPC bug took over.. lol..

My Linux skills are a bit rusty, and I had some issues back then because I was using FC3 and the guide I was following then was written up for FC2.

Maybe it's time to return to it, since I'm not working on the carputer right now.

    Nice work, btw
