wonderful world we live in huh? well... it's no surprise that armoring companies don't want to have anything to do with making a corolla bullet-resistant, even where cost is no object, so short of kludging my own windows out of lexan (even scarier) and installing deadbolts, i guess I'm just resigned to having my stuff eventually stolen.

i've thought about pursuing a concealed carry permit. i always keep coming to the same conclusion though... i'm not much of a gunfighter. If it ever came down to brass tacks, I lack the killer instinct to pull the trigger. MacGyver was like a big brother to me. I don't/can't use guns!

i could stab the hapless bastard to death though with my Swiss Army Toothpick. Why a toothpick? BECAUSE IT'S DULL YOU IDIOT! IT'LL 'URT MORE!

This has nothing to do with stun guns and im not really reading the posts here

Last I checked. It IS ILLEGAL to create a boobytrap device even for the means of security. An eletric shock car is illegal period in most if not all states.

this thread is old and useless, lets let it die unless someone has actually created one of these.

I remeber seeing these shocking cars on tv once. it was about major car alarms. one had a flame thrower and one had the huge shock. they are out there. and althought they are not illegal in most states. if you do hurt someone they can always find a way to sue your ***. does not matter if they were trying to steal you car. come one this is america we are talking about.

and the concealled weapens permit. dont do it, it is asking for trouble. you should never carry unless you are well trained. as a gun escalated everything 10 fold.

You know, this thread is rather funny to me, I have a friend that actually did install a system like this in his Amigo. Stun gun probes in the door handle, and while being a rather serious and dangerous thing when it comes to hurting innocent people I have to tell the tale:

The BEST part of a system like this is the people standing around watching the OWNER of the car try to get in it... Everytime he goes for the handle he just cringes and you can see the fear in his eyes... Why? It misfires all the time and zaps him. Regardless how good you think you are at making a system like this work, it'll bite you just as often as a theif. I like the idea of hiding LOT'S of high volume siren's all around inside the cabin far more... and a spare battery or two of course!
