What external soundcard are you using?

I am looking for external soundcard, but is Audigy 2 NX my only option?? what are other good ones out there? that's aren't going to rip a whole in my pocket? Again i need it to be external.

I'm just using the Soundblaster Live 24-bit external. Works great and its not expensive at ~$45. USB 2.0 powered and has good options for input and output. Also has a remote IR in, so I can use it with my PAC-SWIX for my steering wheel controls. (Just need a creative remote....)

sorry meant to post it in General hardware Discussion. oh wel. whats the difference between that live card and the audigy 2 nx??? Audio quality wise any difference?

Go for the usb dac and then a crossover

Looks like the main differences are the NX supports AC-3, EX 6.1, does 7.1 3D Positional Audio, and has a SPDIF IN, where the Live 24 does not. Nothing that I would really think would make a difference in the car.... but thats just me.
