Like me, I have a number of suspension, brake, and electrical mods in the car, but nothing powertrain (yet). So for the time being, my whole drivetrain is 100% still covered.
Well bottomline is the dealer can say no and then the burden is on you to take them to court.... Which costs $$, so in the end you mine as well just pay for your repairs...

In the world of tinkering you gotta pay to play....

106 may be illegal there but it is hardly abuse unless you have some clapped out banger.

I assume all Nav software creates and stores a log. It would only be a question of getting the software to start with the front-end so it can start logging with out the need for a person to launch it.

That's a pretty big assumption. I think iGuidance can record, but doesn't do it automatically, you'd have to manually turn on the track.

FD can be set to record every time you start it, and to have any prog start with the PC, just drag a shortcut into Start>Programs>Startup.

It's not that the car can't do 106, on the contrary, it's quite happy at those speeds. The issue is that someone who was supposed to be checking for something that's no where near those speeds decided to drive it that fast.
