The install looks good, but that's the first time I've seen Cobra in action. How do you guys manage to stay on the road while navigating through all of those menus?? Sheesh.
Oh yeah, did you have to modify your double din slot to accept the Redant?
I was just fooling around the other day. I just got it installed and decided to snap a video. The install was kind of hastily done, so it doesnt look pretty, but it works. Let me know what you think!

I am an excellent multitasker...lol...I use a simple numeric keypad with the up, down, left, right arrows for basic navigation. Sometime down the road I may ditch it for an IRMAN.
I had to glue a peice of plexiglass onto the back of the dash, and then cut out an opening the size of the redant. Then I had to dremel out a tad of the plastic behind the dash. Quite simple to do I must say. I was expecting it to be harder! But as you can see in the pics, there are some rough edges on the plexi. I need to perfect my dremel skills still!
hhaaaa, sweet!
But is it really safe to videotape your dash while you're driving?![]()
That's what I was thinking, but I could hear some girl laughing in the background. Figured she was the one doing it.
I'm going to have to go get a Radeon now. The picture coming out of my ASUS 32MB GF2 sucks. It's adding shadows and artifacts with my nice gold plated RCA cable and my crappy radio shack RCA cable. Blah.
One more question. Is that copilot in those pictures on your site, or a cobra frontend?
Copilot 2k2. The girls voice you heard was in the video. I filmed the clip myself. Yea its not safe, but like I said before I'm an excellent multitasker. Its not like I was looking at the view finder or anything. I just pointed an shot. Half of the video came out pretty bad, I just cut it up and made a clip of the good shots!

I'm not sure if I should laugh or be ****ed. Were you trying to be funny?
