Exclamation Screen Turns off Every So Often

I have been having this problem since I built my car pc. When I am driving and trying to look at my screen sometimes it turns off for about 1-2 seconds and then turns back on. I am going to say it does this about every 2 minutes. Not that bad but it gets annoying.

    Here are my specs:
-Dell Latitude C610 with Docking Station
    -Lilliput 619-GL
    -Road Runner
    -IGMon
    -LSX Skin
    -Iguidance 2.1NA

I have my computer in the back with a 25 foot vga cable I bought from monoprice.

    Any ideas?

Oh by the way it is running off a inverter if that makes any difference.

I just don't know a better way to power a laptop and screen. So if you could help me with that I would appreciate it. I know I can't use an opus but maybe a carnetix? Does it have the dell prongs or what? Thanks!

turn your refresh rate from whatever you put it back to 60mhz and your problem should go away.

i had the same prob. i turned up the refresh to 75hz to get the picture a little clearer, and every once and a while the lilliput thinks that the refresh rate is not supported so it goes black for a second or 2 then comes back. I turned the hz back to 60 (the default), and i havent had a black screen since.

Well the video cable is tight on both ends so unless it has a short or something in it in between.

Like I said power is ran through inverter. But I don't think it's power because the screen stays on just no video (I believe I am correct, I will have to check next time I am driving).

i kept getting this on my LinITX screen, turned out to be the auto-switching wire was bare and catching on some metal, so it was switching the input but that input had no source

Don't believe my lcd has an autoswitching feature.
