    Finally Done

Finally with a mere week remaining before the first VW Show, the LCD is in the console and all works, Had to get a new CD Player with AUX IN. And it was worth the cost for the quality. Thanks to #mp3car, this forum and ABCD for Cobra.

Expect new visitors to mp3car, because i hope a 1971 VW Beetle with a computer in it will turn a few heads at the shows. And i will tell them to learn more go to the #1 Resource

As Requested. Speaker Images and an interior view

Tough to get it all in one image so i have done my best to piece a few images together.
What do you have if you take the backseat out of a VW Beetle and replace it with speakers?

    Here's my old bump'n'bug system
    http://www.mp3car.com/usersites/g60/oldstereobig.jpg

That was the best system I ever had, I had most of it in a corrado, minus good speakers and one sub. Now i've got a scirocco, but i don't know if I want to have any stereo at all in it. Mabye I should get another bug

Very nice setup, and as far as a rocco goes, you should be able to put some nice bump in the hatch . makes me want to hurry up and finish my dub (GAH!@ once it gets out of the shop, damn land rovers!@#).

Niiiice. As a modder who's working on putting a system into a New Beetle, it's sweet to see it in an old classic.

This could be misconstrued in so many ways... and at 5.6 inches.

What show, and where? I live with a VW nut, and it'll be cool to get out to a few shows etc.
