For me, it's audio books. The 8hr drive up to Amarillo flies by while listening to a couple of audio books.
How about Steven Lynch or Lewis Black.
I am just posting out of excitement because my car pc just passed its biggest test yet. It ran with no problems for 6 straight hours yesterday. And I do have to say that I always knew that winamp and all of my songs would make the time fly by, but I never knew how entertaining it would be to listen to hours of stand up comedy. I am not sure why I ever downl;oaded the stuff but I am now glad that I did. If you guys have any favorite comedians drop some names so I can add to my collection, thanks.

how easy is it to find audio books online? my ideal situation would be to be able to download my engineering text books so that I could listen to those on the long road trips. But since that isn't going to happen.....keep the comedians coming. Thanks

It's not. There are a few full audio books on grokster, but most look like, "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone - Part 5 of 600000." There's an audio book store in town where you can rent books for a few bucks. I just get something I want to read, rip it, and take it back.Originally posted by cruzc_99

cant you find audio books at the (eek) library? i seem to remember seeing them way back when i used to actually go to that building!!! i dont remember if they are on cd or tape... most likely cd, since no-one really uses tapes that much.
