    Monitor Retraction

    Hella all, am looking for a way to retract my lcd monitor into my dash (vertically). It would be a touchscreen and by the touch of a button, it would retract and go flush with the dash. I read on here where one person installed one in a bug that open and close on top of the dash.

    Am wanting to find a quite servo/motor that I could accomplish this with.
    Any Ideas and or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    umm, best thing to do is search

    the bug project used a servo for a model sailboat

    u just need a motor with a lot of torque, but low RPM, so either a servo, or a stepper motor
