    CCDeck.com? New Front end?

This CCDeck is a "new" car pc being advertised around here. Looks like they are using iGuidence for the NAV, Frodo for the Front End? No mention of that however...they call it "Simple" touch screen interface. Sounds like a fairly good bundle, not sure on price yet.

Man if I developed frodo player I would be ****ed about they calling it "exclusive" easy to use graphical front end.

If I recall, it was not for commercial use, but I guess if Frodo has dissapeared then they are not to worried about it..seems like they should at least acknowledge the fact that they are reselling it.

Then again, who knows maybe they got his permission to use it.

Eh, I don't think that one would really hold. I've seen way too many of these that are just to vague. That would be like someone having a patent on an invention that has 2-18 wheels, a steering wheel, an engine, and can hold one or more people to be used for transportation.

Plus that one's listed as standard DIN size with the computer installed in the dash... not the same as what most of us build.

I hear CCDeck is going to be demoed at a Silicon Valley wireless event coming up in the next week or two. The market is really expanding.
